Resume

Resume Header

I am Chair of Interactive Design and Game Development at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). My mission is to prepare students for competitive careers in gaming and interactive media with an eye towards AI workflows, networked production and immersive technologies. I have over 20 years of experience across animated films, TV commercials, and video games, with past credits including Monster House, Avengers, Oblivion, and Men in Black III. As a contractor and entrepreneur, I have built apps, virtual reality, and gamified software experiences. Now I focus on educating and mentoring the next generation of digital artists, designers and game developers.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe in learning through doing, failing, and iterating. My approach centers on practical application, creative risk-taking, and the understanding that mastery comes through continuous iteration rather than perfectionism. I teach artists to build for what's coming, emphasizing real-time workflows, AI integration, and emerging technologies that will shape the future of interactive media.
